We are T2.

What drives T2.

Our power comes from our people—beginning with Mike Patel who formed T2 Hospitality with partner Mont Williamson, in 2011. As business expanded, our staff grew to create the T2 of today.

About-T2-Hospitality

Built on a foundation of values.

Developing great projects begins with developing a great
team— one that is motivated by a consistent philosophy and a strong
set of values. Here’s ours:

01
Make it better than
it was before.
This is our mantra. It applies to design, operations, profitability, life. Because: there is not a dirt lot or neglected hotel that does not have promise hiding within it. The potential for improvement is everywhere. In every property. In everybody.
02
Tell it like it is.
Otherwise known as “transparency,” it’s the age-old quality of being open and honest. It can apply to performance feedback or making a business case we feel passionate about. When spoken with respect and the sincere desire to help, you can express anything. To anybody. Then, real progress is possible.
03
Live by the Golden Rule.
You know, treat others as you want to be treated. It may sound old-fashioned. But in the long run, integrity works. Sincerity, trust, honestly all work. Just ask our team members and brand partners.
04
Always do it right.
We might spend an inordinate amount of time searching for the connection between use and enjoyment. But we believe to do a job, is to do it right. In Japanese culture, it’s called ikigai. It’s about craftsmanship, details, the drive for aesthetic perfection. Not because somebody’s looking over your shoulder. Because it’s inside you.
05
We’re stronger together.
At T2, collaboration is king. More viewpoints lead to deeper knowledge—and exponentially smarter solutions. Since day one, we have collaborated with our brand partners. Because when efforts are combined, goodness is multiplied.
06
Learn by listening.
We listen to our brand partners when they have a concern or our interns when they see a better way of doing something. This kind of input is invaluable. It is the road to constant improvement. And it can be found everywhere.
07
Find joy in making it
different.
Change isn’t something we’re forced to do. We love doing it. Whether it’s deconstructed bathrooms or autonomous mobile housekeeping carts, there’s nothing better than coming up with something nobody’s ever thought of before.
